D.O. & Famous – I Live For This Part II (Prod. StatikMusic) [Video]

Toronto, OND.O. hit us up earlier on this month with two very important newsflashes. Firstly, he was pretty geeked because the Steelers had just beaten the Ravens (my condolensces on yesterday’s game against the Jets).

The second newsflash was that he’d just dropped a collaboration video with Famous titled “I Live For This Part II.” It’s monstrous. Check it after the jump.

D.O. & Famous - I Live For This Part II (Prod. StatikMusic) [Video] - HipHopCanada.com

This video was filmed at the Marina Bay Sands Hotel in Singapore during the Music Matters Music Festival. And it is all flex. D.O. and Famous hit us with some hungry bars that remind us just how successful the two MCs feel they’ve become. And I dig it. You know why? Because these two didn’t need to rent a Benz or get some video girls in order to show us how successful their rap game is. They just turned on the camera and – BAM – they’re in Singapore and they’re living for this. You can’t front this sort of thing. You feel me? It speaks for itself.

I would have loved to have seen the conversation that went down before they shot the video. I’m guessing it went along the lines of: “Yo. Yo. Yo. Check how plush these bathrobes are. You know what would be really dope? If we put on the bathrobes and spat some bars, and filmed a music video at this really nice hotel in Singapore. WE LIIIIIVVVEEEEEE!” I mean, that’s how I assume it went down. Either way, we now have this new StatikMusic produced video single of supreme status.

Also of note: D.O. stays super humble but y’all should know that he’s been grinding hard this year. He recently showcased at A3C, and then went to Amsterdam for ADE. He’s doing a month-long tour of schools for anti-bullying month and recently made a stop through York University (formerly where he attended) to talk to some up-and-coming music business students. Shout-out to D.O. for being that dude. Salute!
