JWalk – Jealous ft. D-Pryde [Video]

Toronto, ONJWalk just hit us up to let us know that he teamed up with D-Pryde to launch a new video single titled “Jealous.”

It all starts off with some production that is kind of reminiscent of T-Pain’s “Buy U A Drank.” I think it’s because of the snapping. I kind of expect JWalk to start doing that “Oooooh ooooooh oooooh” thing, or maybe he’ll tell us to find him in the grey Cadillac. But he doesn’t. This track is actually the exact opposite of “Buy U A Drank.” It probably could have been called “I Made The Mistake Of Buying U A Drank and Now You’re My Girl and I Think You Are Really Annoying.”

JWalk and D-Pryde use this surprisingly smooth R&B-tinged joint to air out their girl problems. Specifically, how they both really hate girl drama. Nobody got time for that. Check the video after the jump.

The video shows JWalk strolling down the street with his girl. And he’s basically just ignoring her and rapping about the drama of their relationship. But she’s oblivious to it all. Then D-Pryde comes in on his feature verse. His girl looks mad pissed off. Shoot. She totally just shut him down when he tried to kiss her, too. That’s low.

But at the end of the video, some dude comes and kidnaps JWalk’s girl. And JWalk just kind of shrugs and continues strolling along. Then he meets up with the homie D-Pryde, and D-Pryde’s girl. Except then D-Pryde’s girl gets lured off by the same thug kidnapper. And then JWalk and D-Pryde shrug it off and continue strolling along. My best guess: they’re probably going to the lab to record raps, or something. Because you got to have priorities. Rap prose and bros before hoes.
