True Rhythm presents: The Calgary Inter-Faith Food Bank Drive [News] #HHCSponsored

Calgary, AB – Every year, the fam over at True Rhythm hosts a holiday season food drive for the Calgary Inter-Faith Food Bank. And this year’s event is coming up on us soon. We are pretty geeked to announce that this will be an #HHCSponsored event. We’re very lucky to be able to team up with some of Calgary’s finest promoters and MCs to help y’all give back to your community and scene.

It all goes down on Dec. 20 at Bronco Smokehouse & Saloon (130, 1011 – 1 St, SW) with performances from some of your favourite local rap cats including Mic Starink, MissFudge, Suicide Kings, Myriad, Random Human, Ominous, Busy Beatz & Triple T, Shawtee Re, and Definite. The night also includes some burlesque, courtesy of Kabuki Guns, fire spinning from Mysdefy, a silent auction, food and bevies, and more.

Doors to the venue open at 9 p.m. Tickets are $10 at the door with two non-perishable food donations, or $15 without food donations. If you’re unable to attend the event or you feel extra generous this year, you can drop off any food donations at The Next Level Bowness, The Next Level Forest Lawn, or Le Rock on 17th Avenue. Food donations will also be accepted at the event. This is an 18-plus event, so make sure you come equipped with some photo I.D. For more information, head on over to the event’s official Facebook page, and peep the event flyer after the jump.
