Charley Moon – Revival [Audio]

Toronto, ON – Higher Learning Culture artist Charley Moon just dropped two brand new singles on us off his forthcoming AOE project: “Revival” and “Pity Party.”

“Revival” is just that – a revival of Charley Moon: “God damn/ I’ve been grinding for a mighty long time/ Kill these beats and put my heart and soul in every rhyme.”

It’s a new year so a lot of MCs are digging deep to reinvent or re-establish themselves in the scene. Charley uses this track (and the whole hype surrounding his upcoming release – for that matter) to reintroduce himself to us. It’s 2015. Charley Moon is back.

The track intros with an audio sound bite of a man counting some serious dollars: “One million-one hundred… One million-two hundred… One-million three hundred…” Then Charley hits us with his signature vibed-out production. That’s right – Charley self-produced this joint. And he’s got a real knack for creating those mellow smoked-out beats that we’ve all come to love.

Also, I think Charley’s gotten a bit more hungry for 2015. He puts on a lot of flex on this joint. He’s getting the girls, he’s brushing off the haters, and he’s planning a full-blown Charley Moon takeover: “When I’m in heaven/ Play this shit on my arrival.”
