ACURE Records signee Kyle Wildfern releases new banger, “truth/idk”

Toronto, ON – Toronto/Brampton artist, Kyle Wildfern just teamed up with Texas-based producer Raava for this hot new banger titled “truth/idk.” This is the duo’s first time ever collaborating and I’m a huge fan of their finished product.

Raava hits us with this chaotic trap beat featuring the most monstrous drumline ever. Then Kyle comes in with a deep raspy delivery: “I just tell the truth/ This what we do, man/ This isn’t for you/ When I pull up, I hit it/ I pull up, I shoot and I never miss.” Check it out below.

New music: Ricky Storm releases self-produced party jam,

Kyle uses this song to fire a warning shot at the fakes. I think we often get caught up in this idea of being a “genuine” artist or whatever. But what does that even mean? What it all comes down to is telling the truth. It doesn’t even need to be your truth. I know plenty of dudes who pen songs inspired by a friend or family member that are just as raw and real. Because at the end of the day, it’s all coming from a place of truth. Kyle only f**ks with the homies who speak the truth. He stays away from those who front. So his circle is pretty small: “I don’t know you/ I don’t know him/ Because I know a few n**gas.” That’s where the “idk” part of the song title comes from, by the way.

Some cats like to make ish up, though. These are the dudes who try to do street rap when they living in some nice suburban home with their folks. These are the dudes who talk about pussy when they aint getting any. These are the dudes who want to play into a certain image. They have some weird preconceived idea of what “rap” should be and they try to adhere to it. But Kyle’s calling them all out on here.

In fact, Kyle is GOING IN on them. The combination of the filthy Raava beat and Kyle’s grizzly delivery makes Kyle sound borderline psychotic. Like…this dude is savage. He is hungry AF. HE IS HUNGRY FOR THE TRUTH.
