Contest: Win a pair of wristbands to Canadian Music Week (CMW) in Toronto
Toronto, ON – HipHopCanada has teamed up with AB Co. to give away two pairs of wristbands to Canadian Music Week (CMW) in Toronto this year from May 2 through May 8.
Celebrating its 34th year, CMW is Canada’s biggest new music festival. Every year the festival and conference take over all of downtown Toronto for seven days of live music (with many venues open until 4 am).
One of my favourite annual festivals for MANY reasons, CMW is the festival that actually puts the spotlight on so many of the artists we support here on HipHopCanada. This year has a stacked line-up featuring performances from Drezus, Flex The Antihero, JD Era, JiMMY B, Kaydee, KIDS, Rich Kidd, Sha, The Posterz, Wasiu, and many many more.
Along with the Canadian acts, comes a slew of dope international performances from UK grime artist Skepta, as well as Brooklyn artist Amir Obe, D.R.A.M, and more (check the full list of performers over here).
So we’re super excited to be able to give away access to such a dope festival. Check after the jump to find out how to enter in on this contest via Instagram, Facebook, or Twitter.

If you don’t want to miss out on your chance to attend CMW, you can head on over to the CMW website to purchase wristbands for the week. General admission wristbands are $75 and VIP wristbands are $150 and allow you to skip the lines and gives you guaranteed access to three shows of your choice. If you only want to hit up a couple of shows, you can also purchase single tickets for ticketed events and showcases throughout the week.
