Update: Two men charged with murder, robbery of HipHopCanada contributor Zack Noureddine

Toronto, ON – It’s been almost 4 months since the murder of HipHopCanada contributor of Zaher Noureddine (better known as Zack) outside of Yonge Street restaurant in Toronto. He was 25 at the time of his death.

Today we’re one step closer to seeing Zack and his family getting some justice for the inexcusable crimes that were committed against him. On Wednesday, April 11, William Lordhu Cummins, 29, and Patrick Smith, 26, both of Toronto, were arrested and charged with robbery and second degree murder. A third man is also in custody but has yet to be charged. He is also facing second degree murder and robbery charges.

Toronto Police have repeatedly stated that while random, they believe that Zack was specifically targeted by the group before he was attacked. “I believe it was a very brazen robbery,” homicide Det. Jeff Allington had told reporters near the scene of the crime back in December.
