ScHoolboy Q announced as the headliner for Friday night at NXNE Port Lands
Toronto, ON – The annual NXNE music festival goes down in Toronto this year from June 13 through June 19. And we’re super stoked because ScHoolboy Q was recently announced as the headlining act for Friday night (June 17) at NXNE’s new Port Lands festival venue.
The evening has a ridiculously stacked hip-hop and R&B line-up that includes Ghostface Killah, Shamir, Mick Jenkins, and Toronto’s own Tasha the Amazon and Daniel Caesar.
For the record – I was blessed enough to be in attendance at ScHoolboy’s first ever show in Canada at Pemberton Music Festival a few years ago. And to this day, that was one of my favourite live shows of all time. Guy moves the crowd like none other.
And the fact that he’s performing on a bill with an OG like Ghostface, and a bunch of the illest new wave urban artists like Mick and Daniel is so legendary. This is a night for the hip-hop heads. And if you’re into indie music as well, Saturday’s line up features Father John Misty, Mother Mother, Dan Mangan, The Zolas, Devin Cuddy Band, and more. Weekend passes are available for $79.50 each, or $149 for VIP.
