Song of the Day: Gangis Khan’s “Family” (Prod. Tone Mason) off The Story of Camoflauge
Toronto, ON – Today’s Song of the Day is a classic Gangis Khan aka Camoflauge cut which is featured on his latest project, The Story of Camoflauge. The project, combining older and newer Camo material, is available through Spotify and iTunes, and features various fan favourites released during the Scarborough-native’s storied career.
The heartfelt “Family” was produced by Grammy-nominated production team Tone Mason, and originally featured on Camo’s Scardogg Millionaire mixtape which was released in 2010. A testament to the Deepwaters MC’s timeless sound, the song sounds new and represents a very introspective and thought provoking side of Camo that many fans love about him.
The Story of Camoflauge features various dope features including Tre Nyce, Moula, Pyrex, Sese, Syph, Konshens, JD Era, Raekwon, Styles P, Tone-Ez, K. Koke, King Daps, Peter Jackson, Mac Morris, Belly, Magnum 357 and JRDN. Be sure to follow Camo on Instragram @GangisKhanCamo for his often hilarious observations and more Deepwaters updates. He’s as hungry as ever and we’re told there’s a gang of new material coming. Stay tuned!
