Let’s Go: TassNata to perform new single featuring Rich Kidd & Tona at BigTicket, June 24
Vernon, BC – BC hip-hop vet TassNata has been on our radar now for more than a decade, but lately he’s been pushing the boundaries of success like we haven’t seen before. Namely, his new upbeat single “Let’s Go” featuring Naturally Born Strangers members Rich Kidd and Tona has been picking up steam, and fast. The Tone Mason-produced record was one of 3 indie joints to recently make it onto Spotify’s Hip Hop Central list and the song been showcased on various blogs and music websites.
“Let’s Go” is actually being performed live for the first time at the HipHopCanada-sponsored #BigTicket event, taking place June 24 inside Toronto’s Revival Bar (783 College Street). All 3 artists will be on hand to perform the song since Naturally Born Strangers are the headline for the evening. Click here for more details about the event and check out “Let’s Go” below.
We reached out to Tass to ask about the record coming together, and the success it’s been seeing. Here’s what he had to say:
“The studio session at Post Office Sound in Toronto was one of the most hype sessions I’ve ever been in. At one point, our homie S-quire who was filming, just put his drink down and started doing push-ups. The atmosphere was exactly what you’d expect when hearing the song. Afterwards, we pretty much listened and yelled over Rich’s hook like 100 times before going out. Everyone involved knew that shit was fire… we don’t always have to act humble right? All credit due to Tone Mason though… the beat is wild, and I’m glad to see it doing so well this early.”
