Brampton songstress Aiona introduces herself with sultry single “You & I”

Brampton, ON – Waycool’s newest member is a vocally strong songstress coming out of Brampton who goes by Aiona. Her debut single “You And I” is an impressively strong, self-produced feat with additional production and vocals from fellow Waycool member, Kyle Wildfern. The overall balance of tones helps Aiona’s vocals stand out in perfect, smoldering contrast to the rolling beat. And, it’s her dark and nostalgic lyrics which give life to the personal recollections that she confidently speaks on.

Acting as her debut, “You & I” surpasses expectations for an entry project, and portrays the singer as artistically far beyond her years. Her technical abilities are apparent as she remorselessly sings about a past relationship ended, and her warnings that she is not to be messed with are fully comprehended and appreciated. Underestimating her potential seems like the wrong move to make, and we’re looking forward to what’s to come from Aiona and the rest of the Waycool team.
