WayCool’s Aiona returns with second single release “Numb”

Brampton, ON – It’s been literally a week since the collective’s last release, and WayCool returns with a new single from recently introduced songstress Aiona. “Numb” is a charismatic and enticing track produced by fellow WayCool members, DviousMindZ and Martin Sole. The song proves again that Aiona is far beyond her years technically. The R&B songstress first debuted with us in early January when she released her first single “You & I”.

“Numb” is a perfect return which puts her front-row as one of the few Canadian females making R&B that speaks to the less stereotypical perspectives of women. The track touches on the reflections of a casual coupling and the internal back-and-forth that comes with relationships. When the singer croons, “And I’m going to ruin some lives, make you wish you did me right/Gonna’ stain your soul with mine, make you undress your mind,” she does it in such a beautiful way that it doesn’t come across in its’ fully threatening meaning. Rather her seductive taunts serve as an invitation that is similar to a guilty pleasure.

Enjoy “Numb” below.
