Dope Piece gets the party started in his new video for “Party Joint”

St. John’s, NL – Newfoundland rapper Dope Piece just released brand new visuals for his pumped up party record titled “Party Joint” (produced by Mike’L) off the DOPEACE project.

This is one of my favourite Dope Piece records because it’s all about catching a vibe. This is the kind of track you just bounce along to. It’s got that ’90s old school vibe, which fuses well with Dope Piece’s flow and delivery. This is the kind of song that works just as well as a track to vibe out to, as it does a track to turn up to.

Sticking to his low-fi, low-budget M.O., Dope Piece brings us into his house party for this one. He spends the duration of the party decked out in a white bathrobe and an Untitled&Co. sweatband. Then the cops show up. But they brought their own weed so Dope Piece lets them into the party.

The video was shot and directed by Josh Parsons, and features additional vocals and writing courtesy of Erchnut and Mike’L. Check it out after the jump.
