HipHopCanada on Spotify: Check out Sarah Jay’s Weekly Picks Vol. 22

Calgary, AB – HipHopCanada joined Spotify in 2016 and we’ve been releasing a new playlist with two hours of music every single week.

Each Friday we’ll hit you with a Canadian urban music playlist curated by Sarah Jay. Every week Sarah will be putting together a 38-track weekly selection of new releases, classic favourites, throwbacks, and songs she’s playing heavy on rotation.

This week’s playlist includes a ton of dope new music including Ramsay Almighty’s “Wake”, Allan Rayman’s “December” (off Roadhouse 01), NAV’s “Up” (off NAV), DBLCRSS’ “Ceremonials” (off Hand Of God), Fidel Benjamin’s “Savage” (off the Nights Like These EP), Sean Leon’s “Win” (off I Think You’ve Gone Mad (Or the Sins of the Father)), Derek Wise’s “Jamal” (off Inglorious), Cannonhead’s “Why Would I Lie, Why Would I Lie”, “Pter P’s “Who” (off of LIT), Pryde’s “Left Field” (off Loverboy), The Gvllows’ “Banned From Toronto” (off Between Timid & Timnbuktoo), Emay’s “Yakub” (off Ilah), Saam’s “MainLine” (off the PsychEval EP), Lais’ “Balconies”, HERO’s “Dirty Work”, Blacka Da Don and Eestbound’s “Doin Tingz”, Khaliowe’s “Beautiful Goodbye”, OSIYM’s “Poetry”, and Myazwe’s “Finish Line” (off E: My Experiences on Empty).

Yet again, this week is stacked full of (mostly) brand new releases. There are a couple of throwback tracks on there, and a few favourites from the last few years. But the majority of this playlist is brand-new, dope Canadian music. Check out the playlist and tracklist for Sarah Jay’s Weekly Picks Vol. 22 below, and make sure you go follow us on Spotify.
