Jordan Cassius shows his developing growth on new single “Y U”

Brampton, ON – WayCool’s latest release comes from member Jordan Cassius who recently dropped the audio for “Y U.” The self-produced single speaks on some of the emcee’s social experiences, as Cassius raps, “Pretty face, but she pretty waste, City girls always moving ways/ Make a n*gga wanna move away, If I don’t fade away, I’ll catch a fade/ Shorty with the body, looks whatever from the neck up/Know you got your head up, Just so you can keep your head up/Asked her where she go to school, She said, YU-Y-U-Y-U-Y-U-Y-U.

WayCool has had a strong start to 2017  by developing the profiles of all of their members, and this recent development is not surprising in its’ consistent quality. We also saw the release of another impressive track from Cassius last month called “Handles.” With the current speed at which moves are developing, we’re inclined to think this is just the beginning of what we’re about to see from the emcee. He wields a tone and approach to rap that suggests he’s not here to settle for just trying, but rather is playing to win.
