Premiere: You need to watch this week’s 199Z Cypher featuring Sayzee & Haviah Mighty

Toronto, ON – This month we teamed up with Toronto based creative collective 199Z to bring you the 199Z Cypher 2017 series. The cyphers feature beats by Nate Smith and production courtesy of 199Z.

We’ve already dropped Part 1 and Part 2 of the series. And this week we’re back at it again with the third and final instalment featuring two Canadian heavyweight spitters: Sayzee and Haviah Mighty.

While most of the MCs in this series have been newcomers, Sayzee and Haviah Mighty are veterans who have been steady making waves in the Canadian underground for a minute now. On a technical level, this cypher (obviously) is the best of the batch. Both Sayzee and Haviah come through with just straight bars.

Here’s what Néeshell of 199Z had to say about this cypher: “With the finale of our three-part series, 199Z wanted to let two of the more established spitters in the city take the reins and show what they can do. SAYZEE was chosen for his brash style and personality that he brings with his rhymes, while Haviah Mighty ignites the beat with a lyrical barrage of bars. Having the two of them end off the cyphers was our way of bringing it back to the roots of hip-hop and the essence of competition.”
