Ottawa’s Kool Krys empowers women with music video & Wonder Woman tribute album FEMINUM
Ottawa, ON – Rap artist Kool Krys (aka Christina Devine) will be releasing her fourth album FEMINUM, produced and arranged by JUNO-nominated producer and Chops Mag Creator, Bix. The project will be released officially on Friday, May 26 at 8 p.m. inside Ottawa’s popular Kinki Lounge and Kitchen.
Kool Krys’ FEMINUM album is a tribute to female empowerment and Wonder Woman legacy, aligning with the June 2nd release of the Wonder Woman movie in theatres – the first major studio film featuring a female superhero, directed by female director Patty Jenkins.
Ten years after Kool Krys’ first album, The Return of Diana Prince, her fourth album FEMINUM highlights Wonder Woman’s 75 year legacy in pop culture, comics and longevity, inspiring the next generation of girls.
Kool Krys’ music video for the FEMINUM album single “Amazon Hot Wax,” directed and produced by Ottawa vlogger, blogger and digital marketer, Toni van Eeden, showcases talented women in hip-hop, arts and Ottawa’s dynamic entrepreneurial community. The official video will be released on Friday, May 12 – two weeks in advance of Kool Krys’ FEMINUM album release show at Kinki.
“Behind every successful woman is inspiration from other successful women,” says Christina Devine. “My passion is connecting female artists, entrepreneurs and businesses with each other to amplify opportunities for career and personal development.”
