Layla Hendryx is “Livin It Up” with Pressa on her new single

Toronto, ON – She came onto the scene in 2015 with Channel 6, and Layla Hendryx hasn’t slowed down since. Her new single “Livin It Up” dropped today, and boasts an impressive feature from Toronto rapper Pressa. Layla gets back to her aggressive style, and one-of-a-kind voice on this single that features heavily-trap inspired beats. But “Livin It Up” feels bigger than previous releases, and like her musical efforts are about to culminate in something bigger for the Toronto artist.

This new single comes after a short break from releasing music, and hints at a new EP in the works titled, Pree Paid. The single is produced by JMak Beatz, (who also produced Channel 6). If her upcoming project is anything like “Livin It Up” – there’s a strong inclination that her best work is on its’ way to us.

Layla sings, “Ya’ll be on that petty shit, I’m petty too/ And I don’t need nobody else, no substitute/ The way my wrist be moving, make em icey’ ooh/ and I’ve been doin’ me, just like I always do.

Stream “Livin It Up” below, and look out for more from Layla in the coming months.
