One I Want: You need to hear this collaboration between Majid Jordan & PARTYNEXTDOOR

Toronto, ON – Earlier this week OVO artists Majid Jordan and PARTYNEXTDOOR teamed up for this brand new track titled “One I Want.”

Usually an “OVO feature” is synonymous with Drake hopping on to someone’s song for a verse. But this new track sees an unexpected team up between Majid Jordan and PARTYNEXTDOOR. And it’s pretty much exactly what you’d expect a collaboration between them all to sound like.

The track is anchored by one of Jordan’s downtempo synth-y pop beats, mixed with a heartfelt Majid verse about starting from nothing and working his way up to the top. Party comes through with the ear worm hook, and his own verse with some lines about bands and females: “Fifty bands later you the one I want/ Hundred bands later you the one I want.”

“One I Want” comes to us following PND’s surprise release of Colours 2 and Majid Jordan’s newly released single “Phases” off their upcoming sophomore project. Take a listen to “One I Want” below.
