“Polo Fleeces” by BriskInTheHouse is a cinematic journey you need to experience

Brampton, ON – Earlier this week Brampton artist BriskInTheHouse released a brand new track titled “Polo Fleeces.”

“Polo Fleeces” is a dusty, downtempo, cloud rap. It’s very lyrical, it’s a lot to digest, and it’s definitely on some conscious rap tip. But it’s the kind of conscious rap that takes you on a cinematic journey. Brisk says it himself on the outro: “We making movies right now/ Very vivid pictures.” And that’s pretty much what “Polo Fleeces” is.

BriskInTheHouse has been around for a minute now, and his music almost always has this smoked-out vibe with a lyrical focus on spirituality, justice and injustices, and maintaining positivity. This four-and-a-half-minute song sticks to that M.O., and is scattered with beat switch ups to break the song up.

“Polo Fleeces” plays out as one long freestyle divided into several different parts. So think of it as a medley, or even as a condensed little mini EP: “Polo fleeces/ Got ’em for my nieces/ Look decent/ But got beef with polices.”
