Quake Matthews’ Celebrate The Struggle album debuts in Top 5 of iTunes hip-hop chart

Halifax, NS – The new Quake Matthews album Celebrate The Struggle is available now on iTunes and doing quite well with chart positioning. It’s sitting in the No. 5 spot on the Canadian hip-hop chart at the time of this posting but it has reached as high as No. 3 – pushing in front of Kendrick Lamar’s DAMN. and Grateful by DJ Khaled. The 13-track project features, in order of appearance, Neon Dreams, JRDN, Kayo, Ria Mae, JK of the TN Kids, Merkules and DJ IV. It should be available on Spotify and other outlets soon.,

It’s human nature to never be completely satisfied. As soon as the high wears off from our most recent accomplishment, we immediately go searching for the next thing that is going to bring that feeling back. We are so busy trying to get to the top of the latter, that we don’t take time to appreciate the overall journey. “Celebrate the Struggle” means keeping a positive attitude when things aren’t going according to plan, and realizing that it’s all part of the journey. Hardships strengthen the appreciation of our accomplishments; therefore we should have just as much appreciation for the hardships themselves.
