Deep: Jaee Bryant & WondaGurl go deeper than rap on their new collaboration

Charleston, SC – One of the most exciting collaborations to surface this summer, 20-year-old rapper-producer Jaee Bryant teamed up with Toronto super-producer WondaGurl for this new single titled “Deep”.

This track comes to us off Jaee’s forthcoming BLOO album (due out on Sept. 22), which will be his third album in just over six months.

“Deep” is about how it’s all much deeper than rap. This is Jaee’s own call-to-action to bring focus back to the culture and the importance of actually saying something that matters. Backed by some signature WondaGurl heat, Jaee serves this track up as a three-minute-long public service announcement about digging beyond the hype and beyond any selfish motives.

Jaee is basically an old head trapped inside of a new head’s body. He’s got a penchant for conscious, lyrical bars, and a mandate to get back to the roots of the culture. He started off as a producer in 2012, and quickly realized that he had more to say than he thought he did. So he started rapping. He’s got a very distinct gritty flow, and a rough-edged raspy delivery.
