Dizzy’s been putting in that work on his latest project Been Dizzy III: Blackout
Edmonton, AB – I’ll be the first to admit that we slept on Dizzy‘s most recent project Been Dizzy III: Blackout, which the Edmonton MC released last fall-winter.
Since then he’s dropped four visuals in support of the album, opened for a handful of major artists (including T.I. and Redman & Method Man) and is currently touring coast to coast with fellow Canadian artists Cash Dough and DJ $lim (From The Kitchen To The Club Tour). And that’s just scratching the surface. We’ve got some catching up to do.
Blackout encompasses a broad range of 16 tracks from bangers like “Get Lit”, to conscious “Soul Fly”, to vulnerability with “This One’s For You,” which is an ode to his Mother. Always one to support his fellow Edmonton MC’s, Dizzy brings on features from BGK, K Blitz, Cursive, Deuce Fantastick and Rome Angel.
Dizzy’s content and production (executive produced by Dizzy and Nato) on Blackout exemplifies how much he’s grown as an artist, not to mention he’s become somewhat of a marketing machine. Whether he’s networking at SXSW or Canadian Music Week, prepping to rollout his next single or video, or sharing the stage with legends like Red & Meth – Dizzy stays working. Blackout is a product of his consistency.
