Jae Ari explores his perspective on love & sex in this video for “IJS (I’m Just Sayin’)”

Toronto, ON – Earlier this week Toronto artist Jae Ari released the accompanying visual for his favourite track of all time, the Hpnotic718 produced summer soul anthem “IJS (I’m Just Sayin’)”.

We caught up with Jae when he dropped the track, and he explained to us that that song was penned several years ago when Jae was dabbling heavy in more soulful, old school R&B inspired tracks.

“IJS” was inspired by a situation with a female that left Jae feeling used and questioning all of his relations with women. Basically, he caught feels for a girl who wasn’t into guys. But she wanted to experiment so she tried things out on Jae. And of course he got hurt.

This Dynasty Artists Picture Corp directed video takes us through that experience as Jae catches feels and falls for a girl. And as he spends more time with her, he notices a few red flags that he ultimately ignores. And then his girl winds up in bed with another girl.
