Saudin sets the tone with his new video for “Sunset” off Before I Met You

Toronto, ON – Following the release of his debut EP Before I Met You, Saudin is back with a music video for “Sunset”.

The Toronto artist got his introduction to the spotlight a few years back on the television show Degrassi and now is trying his hand in the music world. “Sunset” – which is the last song off of Saudin’s EP – is a melodic record that defines his relationship with a woman that he is involved with when the sun goes down.

The video for the single has a very simple approach containing one continuous shot of Saudin crouched on a rooftop while the sun sets on the city behind him. The aesthetic of the video perfectly matches the mood of the song as it fades in and out keeping you in a rhythmic trance.

Along with the release of the “Sunset” video, Saudin also announced a headlining show which will take place early September at Mod Club in Toronto. It seems as though the artist is ready to leave his Degrassi footsteps behind and make a name for himself as a singer. It may be easy to draw comparisons between him and another Degrassi alumni turned singer (who shall remain nameless) but we will have to see how the rest of this story plays out! Check out the video for “Sunset” below.
