Jacob Hoskins & Reuben McKechnie capture the beauty of same-sex relationships in “NAKED”

Vancouver, BC – A touching piece of black and white visuals come to us from Vancouver artists Jacob Hoskins and Reuben McKechnie. The song is the first release off Jacob’s upcoming EP CHAPTER IV – a project that due out in late September/early October. Hoskins admittedly tackles multiple genres, and his ease at crossing boundaries comes through on this latest release. The transient, and electronic influenced beat provides an atmospheric backdrop for the breathy vocals.

The effect is matched with a touching story of same-sex relationships as viewers watch a couple go through various intimate experiences. A black and white approach to the track gives it an impactful delivery as the production on “NAKED” builds in a climatic fashion with release.

Check out the video below, which was mastered by an infamous West Coast music engineer – Eugene Chong. The upcoming project is set to feature other West Coast artist like: Bains, Rejected Kings, Mathias and Kyross. Keep an eye out for in the coming weeks.
