What keeps you “Strong”? Listen to Sheperd & Harry Santana’s dark new collaboration

Toronto, ON – Switching up the pace completely, Toronto artists Sheperd and Harry Santana just dropped a brand new collaboration titled “Strong.”

“Strong” is a dark, ambient ballad, anchored by an instrumental melody that was co-produced by both Sheperd and Harry. There is no drum line or bass line or any sort of turn up factor to this. It’s just pure raw, emotive, expression over a bare bones instrumental. It’s a total mindf**k because on the one hand, this song is actually uplifting because it’s about recognizing your own strength. But on the other hand, it’s an incredibly dark, lonely, haunting track.

The song plays out as Sheperd poses one single question to his listener: “What keeps you strong?” And as you’re left to mull that one over and get caught up in your feels, the production takes centre stage and plays out without any vocals for the last minute of the song.
