10 new songs you need to hear: Check out Sarah Jay’s Weekly Picks on Spotify

Calgary, AB – HipHopCanada recently relaunched Sarah Jay’s Weekly Picks on Spotify. And this week we’re back with 10 new songs.

For those who aren’t familiar Sarah Jay’s Weekly Picks is a Spotify playlist featuring the best new Canadian urban music releases. It’s a platform to spotlight the artists coming up and to share my favourite new releases with you.

This week 88GLAM (Derek Wise and 88 Camino) finally dropped their debut self titled album and it’s insane. So they’re on the playlist cover right now. The two best cuts off the project are “Lavish” and “12” – and you’ll find them both on this playlist.

Cadence Weapon also just dropped a new track along with the announcement for his upcoming self titled album. Then I discovered an amazing R&B singer out of Toronto named Day Adams who made a song about his signature Ralph Lauren cologne. And for those who are getting excited about the new Roy Woods’ album, I added in his new collaboration with Guido Dos Santos and Rich The Kid to tide you over.

This week’s playlist also features new cuts from ShaqIsDope, Lais, Jordan Fall and Sean Leon, HMLT, Syph, Just John and Tony Kain. Check out the playlist and track list for Sarah Jay’s Weekly Picks below.
