Sarah Jay’s Weekly Picks: 10 new songs you need to hear on Spotify this week

Calgary, AB – HipHopCanada recently relaunched Sarah Jay’s Weekly Picks on Spotify. And this week we’re back with 10 new releases you need to hear.

For those who aren’t familiar Sarah Jay’s Weekly Picks is a Spotify playlist featuring the best new Canadian urban music releases. It’s a platform to spotlight the artists coming up and to share my favourite new releases with you.

This week Nate Husser finally released Geto Rock For The Youth. It’s been on repeat all week so I had to put him on the playlist cover. Jay Glavany also dropped a new EP titled Let’s Get Lost. I’ve also had that one on repeat.

What else happened this week? DillanPonders finally dropped a new single (in celebration of his 26th birthday!) about his favourite biblical character. And K. Forest kicked off Forest SZN with two tracks including a (surprisingly) cheeky “Unusual-Self”. Pyrex changed his name to Pvrx and dropped “Make It.” And then I stumbled on a dope little collaboration between Savon, Lou Phelps and Waldo. This week’s playlist also features recent cuts from MIRAJ, McCallaman, Shan Vincent de Paul and 11:11. Check out the playlist and track list for Sarah Jay’s Weekly Picks below.
