I Sip: Tory Lanez lets off new single on Zane Lowe’s Beats 1

Toronto, ON – New music from your boy Tory Lanez. The new “I Sip” single was released a few days ago in advance of his sophomore studio project, Memories Don’t Die.

After Lanez premiered the song with Zane Lowe on Beats 1, Billboard pointed out that the album could actually drop at any moment but the Toronto artist likely wants to build up more anticipation before pulling the trigger.

Lanez’s previously released singles find the rapper toying with a slew of different sounds like the triumphant trap banger “Shooters” and the Caribbean-inspired ‘Skrt Skrt.’ On ‘I Sip,’ Lanez laces the chilled-out, minimalistic melody with his signature sing-song flow. Glass of liquor presumably in hand, Tory sings about trying to quit his bad habits.

Check out “I Sip” below and stay tuned for more info on Memories Don’t Die. You can find the tune on Spotify and other outlets.
