Toronto’s Cardo Antonnio comes in with a second win on his new hitter “Kalipari”

Toronto, ON – We last heard from Toronto artist Cardo Antonnio when he successfully dropped “Paid in Advance” this past fall. The single was a strong track that defined Cardo’s identity as an emcee with a sound that diverged from the sometimes repetitive ones that dominate mainstream music right now. This week he dropped his second single “Kalipari” which features production from HXXX, and we’re now convinced that this is an artist you shouldn’t underestimate.

“Kalipari” is nonchalant and unassuming at first listen, but the reality is there are few artists who could honestly pull this sound off with the same authenticity. His bars are comical, yet suave in their execution as he raps, “Think I ball so hard my last name Kalipari/And my new bitch blonde, I should call her Barbie/And my wrist so wet it look like calimari.” Chances are this song will quickly be stuck in your head the same way it’s been replaying in ours all day. Stream it below.
