* KING OF THE DOT EXPANDS TO VANCOUVER

* SNAK THE RIPPER CALLS OUT DEEZUZ & INFINITE P

Vancouver's Snak The Ripper recently jumped on his webcam to diss Calgary MCs Deezuz and Infinite P. The Snak freestyle comes after recent words being exchanged on the UGSMAG community. Infinite P responded with "Snak The Quiffer". Snak decided to team up with Manik to release a new diss which he has tagged as the start of 'Round 2' -- the song is called "Stars of the Show" and takes shots at both Infinite P and again, Deezuz. At this point it's not clear if Deezuz will respond. The HipHopCanada community has been dropping its 2 cents on who is coming out on top.

View the Snak diss video and listen to Infinite P's response:

* LOOK OUT FOR THE KURUPTION CAMP

Vancouver's Kuruption Camp has teamed up with Method Man for their debut single "I"m A G". Kuruption Camp is MCs Young Kazh and Tre Nyce who had previously been building strong buzzes on the west coast as solo artists. While the solo work will continue for sure, at the moment the upcoming Kuruption Camp album is the main focus. The first single featuring Method Man is definitely a sign of more heat to come. Check for that 'Northern Monopoly' mixtape . . . "I'm A G" was produced by Vanguards, the production team behind Kardinal Offishall's Billboard Top 5 single "Dangerous".

* MAYHEM MOREARTY RELEASES NEW VIDEO FEATURING C4 & NAVY SEALZ

Toronto's Mayhem Morearty has been building the anticipation for his official album debut with dope buzz singles like the newly released video "Go Dumb". The Aaron A. directed video also features C4 of The Corps and Mayhem's label mate Navy Sealz. Navy Sealz also recently put out an album/DVD, "Full Metal Jacket" featuring Gangis Khan AKA Camoflauge, Luu Breeze and of course, Mayhem! Be on the lookout for various releases from Mosaic Music including Mayhem's album debut 'The Audiobiography'. My personal favourite, from what I've heard of the album already is "Main Squeeze" which I recently found out has received a production face lift making it even hotter . . . haven't heard it yet though. Metropolis Votary and Markit are 'Legato Block'. Markit with the words and Metropolis Votary with words and beats. If you're unfamiliar with the 'All A Lounge Town' album these two have released, you might be intrigued to find out more info after seeing the video for "A Day In The Life". Formed in 2006, Markit and Metropolis Votary had the intention of creating a group influenced by their favourite poets and jazz musicians. The resulting product was a collection of songs, poems and interludes. The main goal behind Legato Block was to create music that was anti abrasive, abstractly tuned with dissonance. Something one could smoke or fall asleep to. Lyrically composed to not follow generic formulas, musically constructed to soothe and intrigue.
