On October 4th of 2006, a monumental hip hop icon was born. Off Da Tracks online television/radio aired for the first time reaching virgin eyes and ears world wide. ODT has now been running for over one year and its success has been enormous. Playing the best in hip hop with the main focus being Canadian content, attracting a large audience within the community as well as across the border. ODT is a radio show like no other with top of the line studio equipment, aided by four professional studio cameras that provide a live video feed to the audience, taking radio to the next level. The show revolves around a subway theme, which connects music from one hood to the other. The audience receives the entire "Off Da Tracks" experience as the primary host and creator, Alex “LECHE” Narvaez, along with various co-hosts take the audience for a ride to different hoods where the music originates from.

The Host, Leche and the ODT production team come from very different backgrounds but are united by the culture of hip hop. The team compliments each other on air creating the perfect atmosphere for ODT. Easily appealing to both the Black and Hispanic community but very much welcoming to all other ethnicities, because hip hop is about more than skin colour and language, its about the union of people through music and urban culture.

ODT quickly expanded and became much more than an entertainment show. With all the support and followers established, we naturally became a socially active movement within the community and took on more projects. ODT is now becoming a multi-platform organization dealing with five major sectors. On-line Television/Radio, Video Production, Events and Planning, Fundraising, and an up-coming website.

TELEVISION/RADIO SHOW: The ODT shows are always packed with the best hip hop music played by our in house DJ, Punjaican. The shows are kept fresh with different themes and special radio events such as Live Cyphers, King Of The North Countdowns, Toronto Diva features etc. In the past year Rochester, JD ERA, Kim Davis, Point Blank, Aristo and many other artists have dropped into the ODT studio for exclusive interviews.

VIDEO PRODUCTION: Also serving the community as a video production house. ODT shoots music videos and EPK's for artists. The live weekly shows are also recorded by our camera crew and archived on the web. ODT is currently in the process of putting together an official OFF DA TRACKS DVD compiled from our exclusive collection of footage.

EVENT AND PLANNING: Putting together socially active events to unite the community is one of our main focuses. ODT plans, organizes and hosts everything from Open Mic nights to Video Release parties etc. Networking and exposure are essential components towards a thriving industry, so ODT creates events and parties to accommodate these requirements.

FUNDRAISING: Raising money and supplies for those less fortunate. In 2007 ODT fundraised money and school supplies which were delivered personally to "Carlton Hall" primary school in Guyana. ODT plans to continue fundraising school supplies and money for children less fortunate around the world.

WEBSITE: The official ODT website is currently being constructed and is expected to be launched on April 30th 2008. The website will serve as an outlet for Canadian urban content. Previously recorded episodes of ODT will be available for download on both video and audio file.
