The Crack House is your site of distribution and consumption of dope programming.

In 2005, Jonathon "Bizz" Brown branded his online radio show The Crack House to little response. A one man band at the time, he began to reach out to local artists along with his friends and community personalities to fill airtime.

"It used to be almost like a drop in center. We'd all just say what was on our minds and that was our programming," says Bizz.

As guests took part in the show they also became avid guerilla marketers which kicked off the first wave of word of mouth notoriety.

"This guy goes into house parties with his friends and gets people chanting Crack House," says Ryerson broadcasting student Alex "Leche" Narvaez, who also operates Off Da Tracks radio. "It was the personal energy that drew us all in."

With a buzz building, the quality of programming, guests and atmosphere followed. The show slowly became added to the list of musts for budding artists in the GTA.

Stretching beyond the boarders due to its online presence, The Crack House's intimate, yet raw atmosphere is the foundation for everything from heated debates about gangs in Canada and mixtape production to producer roundtables and live ciphers.

Evolving further, in 2007 The Crack House branded t-shirts reading "Hip Hop Ain't Dead It Lives in the North," to expand on simple the Crack House apparel available in prior years.

In November 2007, The Crack House partnered up with Livelive Media to bring audiences video episodes of Crack House content.

"The Crack House isn't going anywhere but forward, we just have more and more we want to do," says Bizz. "The local talent is still an important element, but we're also expanding our range of guests in many ways. Every Tuesday is an adventure."
