Chantle Beeso

Chantle Beeso has been a staff writer with HipHopCanada since 2007. She began her career in journalism at the age of sixteen, founding a community-based, youth-led magazine called "BeSo" through The Remix Project. She has worked for Urbanology Magazine and writes artist bios on a regular basis. Since graduating high school as an Ontario Scholar and class Valedictorian, she has enrolled in the Journalism and Political Science program at Carleton University in Ottawa. Her passion for writing and having a voice in the industry only continues to strengthen as she creates opportunities for herself and others through music and the written word.
