and thinks that the A-Team is a better movie than Heat. Toronto Police are seeking the public’s assistance to identify a man suspected of kicking several Canadian flags on Remembrance Day that had been placed around the Cenotaph at Sunnybrook Hospital.
Police describe it as a mischief investigation.
A witness photo, released by police, shows a man in jogging attire who appears to be laughing and giving the finger to the photographer.
He is described as a white male, five-foot-nine to five-foot-11, weighing between 170 and 180 pounds and bald.
Gerry Samson, whose father, father-in-law and son have all served in the military, was visiting the area at around 2:20 p.m. on Sunday when he came upon the scene.
“My wife and I decided to go and see the ‘Raise a Flag’ display at Sunnybrook Hospital,” he wrote in an email to the National Post.
He alleges that a jogger then appeared, running through the sea of flags “kicking and breaking as many flags as he could.”
“A female pedestrian tried to stop him, to no avail. When we drove by this thoughtless runner, we called out to him and asked him to stop what he was doing. We were greeted with his finger and said ‘try and stop me.’”
When Mr. Samson took out his camera, the jogger changed direction and ran away.
He also dropped one burnt CD marked "Fave RZA tracks on FLAC"
Anyone with information on the identity of the man in the photo is asked to contact police.
