lately, i've been fascinated with Gypsies. anyone ever watch those gypsy shows? it's some super interesting shit.

the chicks dress stereotypically slutty and dance provocatively but they have the highest morals ever, and don't have sex til marriage (usually the marriage is around age 17-18)...

and the guys beat each other up and stuff.

they usually stop going to school when they're 12 or so

and they all live in trailers.

it's a cool show man.

at what point can you say you're living somewhere vs vacationing there?

for example, if i go to another country, rent a room and work there for 2 or 3 months, can i officially say i 'lived' in that country?

is it cuz i worked there?

i guess that's what the difference is huh? working in the country. but what if i don't work there and i live off of savings? but i'm there for 2 or 3 months... does that count too?

or i have to be considered an official resident of the country for it to count?

yes definitely.

It's all a state of mind really. But anywhere that you spend more than a month or so and get adjusted to the surroundings, people, have routines, ect.... whether you're supporting yourself or someone else is, doesn't really matter either.

a vacation is just a visit

think of it as if you lived at your grandma's for the summer VS just going there to visit
