has anyone been listening to anything else this year

any rock or reggae, soul, etc...

My fave album this year without question is Tame Impala's Lonerism
I don't think I ever heard an album like this since the 2nd brit invasion in the mid 90's
cant get some of these tunes outta my head...they're like fucking crack calling.....
kevin parker is a genius....he did the whole album on his own...played all of the instruments, wrote/produced everything
he only uses the band when they play live...fuckin dude is crazy

anyways ... theres also Psychedelic Pill by Neil Young, it aint bad...its better than americana ...i'm still listening to it though...

Paul Weller has a good album too, Sonik Kicks...maybe not everyone will like it, but its my shit

Beres Hammond's latest album aint bad so far either...I still have to listen to it more as well

I just got Corb Lund's new album. I remember him from Edmonton. He was in a band called the smalls. But I like his solo stuff way better.
