Yo that Nail PSA wasn't during my time, but it made something so simple look so scary.

But the Concerned Children's Advertisers commercials were just really done well. When I saw these as a kid it really made me look, and the message got through.

I am soon going to be 20, looking back I really don't see anything like this anymore, everything is now either a boring PSA or is dressed up in a silly animation. Come to think of it, there aren't as many PSA's currently for kids about drugs, choices, and appearance as there was in the 90's. The stuff in the 90's was raw, and actually made sense and wasn't too dressed up but still looked good. Lots of pictures, and actions, and sounds but put together in a way that made sense.

The only current PSA I can think of is the one with the kid in the fat guy's body on the medical bench talking about ailments.
