Maestro Needs To Go Back To The Drawing Board His Music Doesnt Flow Like It Used To It Sounds Forced & The Visuals Seem To Not Suit Him

This Video & Song Sound & Look Like A Bad CTV Commercial Is To Glossy/Clean Makes It Look So Cheap Violin Players In A Spot Like A Degrassi Episode Garbage Aging Rockers Doing The Hook Its Just Flop Start To Finish The Song & Video Were Not Good

to each his own but I respectfully disagree- this is my fav Maestro track in a while- the beat goes rock star hard and is very anthemic- lyrically Mr. Maes is in his zone- this track has too many quotables for me to list... but if i had to highlight one; "im trying to be a good father i been the godfather/ i make the predators prey/pray our father"

overall i appreciate the commentary on fame and fans being fickle and the pov of a legendary vet commenting on the music industry/game

but everyone has their own opinion...

I Dont Mind The Commentary/ Message Of The Song But The Flow Delivery & Beat Dont Work Because The Way Maestro Raps It To Slow & Without Passion The Beat & The Hook Are Horrible & The Anthem Feel Makes It Worse

yeah its not nearly as fast as he used to rap- however, and im speaking from a writers pov or at least my writing pov, slowing down as a rapper seems natural- my own raps have been criticized for being too fast so i started slowing down- after all, we want as many people to get the message, not just the hardcore heads whose ears are trained for rap- likewise, Maestro may have slowed down so more people can access the poetry-

that being said, im sure or hope he will still have some faster paced raps on the album for the hardcore heads

also its funny how some found "God Bless Da Child" to be too fast while some find "I Wanna Know" to be too slow-

while hes not yelling or spitting intensely i still feel/hear passion in his voice

You Can Rap Fast Or Rap Slow & Still Be Rapping In Natural Time To A Beat

He Just Sounds Like He Is Not Rapping In His Natural Time/Tone There Could Be Many Reasons Why That Is (Producer Wanted To Go This Direction Or Years Of Rapping His Voice Changed/He Lost His Voice Or He IS Getting Older & Cant Keep That Pace Or The Beats Are Wrong For His Voice/He Cant Rap To Those Type Of Beats Etc)

I Think He Doesnt Have That Fire In Him Anymore & None Of The Other Canadian MCs Are Bringing It Out Of Him By Challenging Him To Step His Game Up To Me Maestro Has Already Done Enough That Time Is Over For Him He Built His Career On Things He No Longer Is Or Can Do & He Already Went Back On What He Said

Maestro Left Enough In Past Albums For Mcs & Producers To Study & Advance The Future Of Canadian Music & He Should Always Be Remember For His Greatness Not His Decline Heres A Song With A Message Where He Raps "Slow" & Gives A Message Notice How The Rap Doesnt Sound Slow It Sounds Like Its In Natural Time With The Beat
