A big thank you to all the college DJs across Canada (and DJs everywhere, for that matter) for playing songs from Wordburglar’s 3rdburglar. Thanks to you, Burg’s third studio album was the 8th most played album on Canadian college radio in 2012 according to the Earshot charts. See?

I like lists like this where i havent heard most the picks.. i had no clue saukrates had an album this year...
LOL Muneshine was on the list
Frank Ocean? nah g..
But yah these lists is putting me onto new shit.. everything seems fragmented.. like guys who use to be my favourites dropped albums this year and i never knew to this week(skyzoo, mhz, roc marciano, saukrates, freeway, wublock, masta killa, styles p, sean price etc.)
The one guy that should be on top of more lists.. or at least in them is Curren$y!

calm yourself Undergod. nobody put anybody onto any list. read the post, these are the most played LPs on college radio this year. The Sauks album had some big songs on there especially Say I w/ OB. If that track got played 1000 times so did the album. Doesnt mean the whole thing was a classic. A lot of music doesnt even make it to college radio because the artists/management arent organized like that or they choose to ignore the outlets. Some great records we got in at CFMU lately are Roc Marci's Reloaded, Sean Price's Mic Tyson & Wu Block. We played about half the records from that list last year on In Tha Kut
Overall I found this list to be pretty solid. Some really good Canadian indie rap on there, and a number of the American releases on that list are in my top ten for the year. A few albums on there I still haven't heard, but this list is definitely proof that college radio DJs are playing some good music on their shows...
