"Start The Fire" is the lead single off 9th Uno's upcoming album "Blue Night" dropping April 2012. 9th goes in on a raw banger produced by MoSS (Ghostface Killa, Raekwon, Royce Da 5'9), cuts by DJ Shylow.

Born in Toronto, Canada, 9th brings the traditional fundamentals of lyricism with a new school flow over the illest of production.Growing up around late 80's and early 90's hip hop culture, 9th began performing, battling, and freestyling at the age of 13 under the name Swift. Hip hop being more demanding in the early 90's, molded 9th into a force to be reckoned with at a very young age. In 1995, 9th changed his name from Swift to 9th Wonder and joined the critically acclaimed Toronto crew "Bombshelta Association". Since then 9th has been performing, recording, and building a solid foundation ready to give the fans what they've been missing…that raw headbanger shit with the help of some of Hip Hop's best production. 9th Uno's first official release and critically acclaimed "Unassociated Press"(2008) is a street album featuring some of hip hop's most celebrated producers and DJ's, such as Marco Polo and MoSS.
9th has performed with Redman/Method Man, KRS-1, GZA, Boot Camp Click,ILL Bill,Sean Price, Mr. Lif, Cage, Camu Tao, Jedi Mind Tricks, Saukrates,Apathy, Celph Titled, D.I.T.C., The Beatnuts among many others.
Accolades include 2006 WINNER of the National JUST ENTERTAINMENT Demo Battle against hundreds of Canadian artists, 2006 WINNER of the MIXTAPE MASSACRE intro contest in which 9th's song "CKLNVEY" is featured every Saturday 1-4 PM on the legendary 88.1 CKLN timeslot. 9th has also been featured several times on the hiphopcanada.com's 'CHOICE CUTS' showcase which features some of the best hiphop music coming out of the country.
9th Uno's anticipated first album "Blue Night" (named after the after hours transit service in Toronto) will take you on a dark, at times, humorous adventure through inner city night life, relationships and addictions vividly painted through 9th's seamless descriptive flow, and word play over beats crafted by Moss (Ghostface Killah, Joe Budden, Sean Price), Arkeologists (D-Sisive, DSC), Thought Product, and more.
