Familiarize yourself with Montreal’s Adhoc and their visual debut “my city”

Adhoc in the my city video

Montreal’s Adhoc returns with the Lou-Pascal Tremblay-directed visuals for “my city.” The group boasts a bi-coastal sound that doesn’t pin them to one specific geographic scene, and the effect seeps through the Benoit Jones-Vallée-constructed cinematic visuals of their first video release. The group takes viewers along for a weekend adventure – full of partying, female encounters, and a plethora of smoke and haze.

In correspondence with the group they reflected on the creation of the video, explaining, “Our smoke machine broke down on set, and our on site personnel had to start smoking in our direction to create the desired effect. Laughter and paranoia ensued. Our director said it was the most cigarettes smoked at a shoot.
