Ottawa recording artist and musician Aspects is set to perform in Ottawa on Saturday, Mar. 23, at an intimate event that should come with some great food and networking opportunities—the intermission features pulled pork and vegetarian fare.
He’s also expected to bring out his talented 8-year-old singer-songwriter daughter, Illiyah Rose, to sing a few songs with him.
The performance will take place at 214 Dagmar Avenue in Ottawa (Vanier) with the show scheduled to start at 8 p.m.
Hailing from Quesnel in beautiful British Columbia, Aspects has been rocking for almost 20 years now.
A true musician in all “aspects,” playing blues with the soul of a 100 year old veteran delta bluesman while also playing funk, rock, jazz, reggae while blending live with hip-hop on his guitar. He has worked with Grammy-winners, played alongside Motown legends, jammed with Harrison Kennedy from Chairman of the Board, and Rick Danko from The Band and Jeff Healy. Last year, he opened up for Beck and Blue Rodeo.
More recently, Aspect has been pairing up with Ottawa’s Rita Carter (who you may recall has played a couple of amazing shows at our home), at MEGAPHONO V and Ottawa Bluesfest 2018
