From politics to pop culture, the 2018 headlines were filled with wild stories, and thankfully we have Brooklyn rap stalwart Bekay here to sum them all up with vivid detail in his Decadez-produced, “Year In Review.”
Despite battling health issues, Bekay has remained on top of every big issue facing our world these days. And as he’s done for so many years now, he tackles all of them with a tack-sharp sense of humor and unique worldview that provides a singular take on the most pressing matters. Just check out the artwork designed by Mister Morris.
From taking shots at everything from the First Lady and Toys R Us declaring bankruptcy, to wrapping up the biggest stories in boxing and MMA, Bekay proves yet again that he’s an undeniable source of information. He also makes it clear that his beef with fellow emcee Talib Kweli is not about to cool off (and you can stay on top of that for yourself on his Twitter account, @TheRealBekay).
