Black Panther has been met with rave reviews and some are suggesting it’s Marvel Studio’s best superhero title yet. Whether it breaks records or ends up doing the numbers they’re now projecting, one thing is for sure, this is the movie hip-hop heads are looking forward to the most. Black Panther is available for viewing everywhere this coming Friday, Feb. 16.
It has also has a few official hip-hop connections including the soundtrack coming through Top Dawg Entertainment. TDE revealed the track listing and artwork for the project late January and Canadian artist The Weeknd is featured on one of the singles with Kendrick Lamar. Other artists include Future, SZA, ScHoolboy Q, Ab-Soul, Jay Rock, Travis Scott, Swae Lee, and Jorja Smith, who made her mark on Drake’s More Life last year.
