Promoting their new Harmony Korine-directed feature film, The Beach Bum, Calvin Cordozar Jr. aka Snoop Dogg and actor Matthew McConaughey joined James Corden on the latest segment of Carpool Karaoke.
“The Doggfather links up with his co-star from The Beach Bum to sing Willie Nelson and KISS tunes on the latest episode of Carpool Karaoke. They even pay tribute to ‘Drop It Like It’s Hot.’” – Merry Jane
The Beach Bum, which will be released on Friday, Mar. 29, is described as “a rebellious stoner named Moondog lives life by his own rules.” Snoop plays the character Lingerie, the right-hand man of Moondog (McConaughey), a degenerate stoner who lives life by the ocean, playing by his own random set of self-imposed rules.
Snoop is just the latest rapper to be featured on the popular Carpool Karaoke. Others include Cardi B, Ice Cube, A$AP Rocky, Migos, and more.
“Hop in for a ride through Los Angeles with buddies Snoop Dogg and Matthew McConaughey and don’t get too hungry when they stop at a drive-thru for some burgers.” – James Corden
From Wikipedia: Carpool Karaoke is a recurring segment on The Late Late Show with James Corden in which James Corden, the host of the show, invites famous musical guests to sing along to their songs with him whilst he is driving on a planned route usually in Los Angeles. It’s usually presented under the pretense of needing to get to work and preferring to use the high-occupancy vehicle lane or the pretext of needing directions from a local when in a new town, such as London (from Adele) or Liverpool (from Paul McCartney) or New York City (from Madonna).
