After a brief hiatus from making music to focus on battling and his gig on MTV, Ottawa rapper Corey Charron is gearing up to release a new single featuring 2014 JUNO Award-winner, JRDN. The track is expected to drop in the near future.
Charron recently spoke with Ottawa’s Faces Magazine about the release in an interview that was published earlier today.
“It’s a step up from my old stuff, I’ve evolved as an artist so I’m looking forward to releasing it and hearing what people have to say about it.”
He also spoke about some overseas battles he’ll be involved with in March, preparing to film Season 14 of MTV’s Wild ‘N Out, and his role as Billy Pistolz in Eminem’s 2017 battle rap themed film, Bodied.
“It was my first time acting and doing a speaking role. When I originally did it, I didn’t know Eminem was on board because he wasn’t on set, but he helped with a lot of things behind the scenes.”
