It’s with a very heavy heart that we report the death of our friend, Canadian rapper Justice Donavan Levar, who went by the moniker Don Mulatto. The sudden loss comes just a week after the passing of his own mother, Lois, but the details surrounding the tragedy have yet to be revealed.
The news was first announced on social media yesterday evening, where several of Donny’s friends, family and colleagues confirmed what we hoped was just a rumour. Artists like Sese, who recently featured Donny in his “Invade” video, or Thoby G, who released a collaborative mixtape (From a G to a Don) with the Polo Don just a couple of months ago, are clearly hurt by the news. Despite only being in the rap game for a few years, the talented 20-year-old had already accumulated a huge catalogue of material – a testament to his love of music and love for recording.
Love Hurts.
