Feeling the 90’s nostalgia, Dru has your cure with “A Girl Like You” single
If you were born in the 80s, you probably were raised on the slick stylings of 90s R&B. Traditional R&B of the 1990s and the R&B of previous decade is still all around us. It’s not just in the form of nostalgia-tapping playlists but still in the music on the Billboard Hot 100. Dru’s newest single, “A GIRL LIKE YOU,” will bring you back those soulful memories.
“‘A GIRL LIKE YOU’ was inspired by R&B from the 90s what I call ‘the golden era of rhythm and blues.’ When artists wrote songs with emotion and real feelings.”
“This song talks about finally finding your soul mate the women of your dreams both emotionally and physically. I’m completely infatuated with her she is all i can see. The chorus is obviously taken from the R&B classic song ‘All My Life’ released in 1998 by R&B legends K-Ci & JoJo.”
